About Us

Andrew Jordan, CPA

President and Certified Public Accountant

As CFO and President, Andrew took a company from losing $200K a month to being consistently profitable in one year. He did this by establishing Vision and Values, getting the right people in the right seat on the bus, making a culture where people wanted to work, choosing and pursuing a niche, improving processes, and bringing transparency through moving to an open book management style.

Our Vision is to provide good quality and affordable accounting, tax, and advisory services for small businesses while being the best place to work for good professionals.

To accomplish our Vision, we actively lean into our Values.

Transparency — Being proactively candid. We work with small business owners that understand this is a relationship that requires trust and communication between all of us!

Humility — Not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less. The best idea wins no matter who’s it is! We try to do what’s best for our clients and our team.

Excellence — We’re fast, accurate, consistent, and timely. We don’t just do bookkeeping, we do bookkeeping right.

Ownership — We work together with our clients to Own the services we’re providing, meet deadlines, and get things done right. Planning ahead helps us keep things from becoming urgent and causing unnecessary stress.

Growth — Actively work on bettering ourselves personally, professionally, and as a company.

Let Us Help:

Many of our clients are local to areas between Pittsburg, Kansas, Springfield, Missouri and Joplin, Missouri. But, the majority of our revenue comes from outside Southwest Missouri because we use cloud-software (virtual hosting for QuickBooks) to serve a narrow range of clients in a wide geographic area.

We add the most value when we work with clients that have these traits:

  • Looks to add a long-term partner with a different point of view to their team, not just get a tax return or bookkeeping done

  • Progressive in their views of technology

  • Looks to grow their business

  • Holds the same values, especially transparency and a growth.

Dear Friend,

It’s one thing to manage a business; it’s quite another to grow it.

If you’re reading this, you know what I’m talking about.

It seems like the books are being handled properly. It seems like payroll is (mostly?) under control. It seems like the IRS is okay with how we’re handling our taxes. It seems like the financial reporting is in place.

We’re flush … most of the time. But we’re certainly not growing. We’re not prospering.

What are we missing?

This is a common story that we hear when we first start talking to business owners. The boxes are checked; the people are in place … but the fact is, they’re not quite sure how to optimize the financials for performance and growth.

Our specialty is in reading between the lines of the systems, the softwares, and the financial statements to see the true financial story being told … even when the reports all “seem” okay (for now).

The fact is that the Federal Government would love to have more of your business’s hard-earned money in their accounts. Your employees probably don’t care about cost control as much as they should. Your sales team might need to focus their efforts in a new direction.

But you don’t have to hand more dollars over to the government than they require just because you don’t know their rules as well as they do. You don’t have to live in a constant state of anxiety over the state of your books. The future of your business doesn’t have to be a question mark.

Let’s get a real-time reading on your business’s financial health with our bookkeeping services. Answer a few questions below to get started.

Click the button above to take your first step, and we’ll be in touch soon to follow up about your specific needs.

And of course, feel free to poke around our site and discover why we’ve been called “The Most Trusted CPA in the Joplin Area.”

PPS — Already want to come in? I don’t blame you … many people are fed up with trying to manage their books and financials on their own. Our schedule is very full … but if you call us at (877) 515-0595 or Email Us, we’ll give you two options for coming in right away. We will NOT make dealing with a business advisor as painful as dealing with your books has already been!

ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNERS- take the step and contact Jordan CPA Services. In addition to providing tax and accounting services, Andrew's advisory CFO service has been essential to my decisions resulting in improved company operations. It is not just numbers-it is what those numbers mean and Andrew delivers the meaning in a clear, precise manner. He has assisted me in refinancing, in reviewing savings in the daily operation as well as exploring business ideas. I consider Andrew my most trusted advisor.

Ryan Meredith

This team is great! They really care about improving the business quality of life of their clients. Peter was extremely helpful in helping me set up my accounting system and taking time to answer all of my questions about QuickBooks. From the big picture strategy to small implementation details, this group can help!

I assume I am a fairly complicated client for them (I'm living in NYC, have multiple businesses organized differently and in different statuses, and much more fairly confusing pieces), yet they are patient and diligent at all times. They send gentle reminders, are flexible with their schedules and are smart and efficient with all their responses and advice, whether it's over the phone or via email. When I first moved back to Joplin, I tried multiple accountants that had challenges dealing with my situation. But not Jordan! They just asked and asked and asked and over-communicated and hustled until they got it all figured out. I can't say THANKS enough!
